Women on Mission
This mission education and prayer support group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:15 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
As participants learn the way God is working to win the lost through missionaries all over the world, they pray for specific missionaries
from local, state, North American, International and Cooperative Baptist Fellowship programs. They also support ongoing church programs
for GA's and Missions Friends educating and involving these young girls in mission activities.
For more information about this group, contact Virginia Conner at 865-693-0863.
New Member Shepherding Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to help women who have recently joined the church become familiar with opportunities available to them.
We will visit women and bring them information about the church and its ministries. They will receive a baked "treat" and an invitation
to the next women's event. We will also make follow-up calls to see what might be a next step in making each person feel a part of our church.
This might include meeting for coffee or lunch, or making a referral to a specific ministry opportunity.
Special Events
In the Fall and Spring of each year, we offer a Women's Ministry event featuring fun, inspirational speakers, a delicious meal, and great fellowship!
