Spanish Ministry

Central’s Spanish Ministry began in 1993. Our church has a weekly Bible study in Spanish, which serves Spanish-speaking people and some who are learning Spanish.

Wednesdays: 7:00 p.m. in Room 216

During the course of 12 years, many people have come and most have moved away since then, as there is a big turnover. Many people have been helped spiritually and with other needs, hospital visits, etc.

The group is led by Dr. Cecil Thompson, retired missionary, who spent many years as professor of theology and ethics in the Baptist Seminary in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is helped by his wife, Jean, and by Dr. and Mrs. Jo Sweet. Please advise the Thompsons or Sweets of any prospects you find for the group.
