Prayer Groups • Mom’s in Touch – Several groups representing surrounding schools meet to pray each week for issues regarding their children, school and teachers. If you would like join a Mom’s in Touch International group, check at your school to see whether there is a group already formed. If not, why not start one and use our Prayer Room as a meeting place? • Men’s Prayer Groups - Several men’s prayer and accountability groups presently meet each week in conference room A on the first floor. All interested men are encouraged to come each Monday at 7:00 a.m. Call the church office if you want to find out about groups which meet on a different day or time. • 2nd Tuesday Prayer Group - If you have an interest in praying for our church, this group is for you! We pray for our pastor, ministers, support staff personnel, the various ministries of Central, spiritual renewal of our church and community, and any upcoming ministry events or needs. This group meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Prayer Room (room 230)from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Feel free to come late or leave early, depending on your lunch or work schedule. • Special Needs Prayer Chain - This prayer chain consists of over 100 prayer volunteers who pray for urgent and critical prayer requests. The volunteers agree to pray with confidentiality and faithfulness. To leave an urgent and critical prayer request, call the church at 450-1000, ext. 800. Also, to join the Special Needs Prayer Chain leave your name and phone number by calling the same ext. 800. A Prayer Chain Contact Leader will gladly return your call and explain how simple and enriching it is to be a prayer volunteer. • Sunday School Prayer Groups - During the week, many classes or departments share prayer requests via e-mail or have phone prayer chains for class or department emergencies.
