Our
Early Childhood Ministry focuses on loving children to a relationship
with Jesus Christ. Our programs and events are designed to teach
Bible stories and concepts, share learning activities, and provide
a safe, loving environment. We strive to make Early Childhood ministry
one of the first important steps in a child's spiritual journey.
We are pleased to invite you to all the
programs of our Early Childhood Ministry
Sunday Morning Worship - at 9:00 and 10:30 - Preschool children ages birth
through kindergarten are involved in Sunday school for both sessions of worship.
Sunday School includes Bible story time and Preschool Praise, a time of active
worship held in the gym.
Wednesday
Night Family Supper - from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.
in the fellowship hall.
Wednesday Night Choir - for children age three
through kindergarten from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.
Wednesday Night Mission Friends - for children
age three through kindergarten from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m.
Mission Friends uses Bible stories and concepts to teach compassion for those
around us.
Preschool
Weekday - for children from birth through pre-kindergarten,
Monday through Thursday during the school year - a teaching program that seeks
to enrich young children.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) -
meets the second Thursday of the month from September to May (6:30 - 8:30PM)
and the last Friday of the month (8:30-11:00am) from September to May.
Parents' Night Out - An opportunity for parents
to take a break and for children birth to sixth grade to have fun as they learn
about Jesus at church. 6:00pm-8:45pm; dates to be announced, reservations required
Summer Adventure - for children from birth through
2nd grade, 2 days a week for 5 weeks - Includes Bible stories, fun and more!
Vacation Bible School - A week of summer Bible
study, missions education, recreation, and worship for children from three
years through sixth grade.
Fun First Friday - A
monthly playgroup for preschoolers and adults on the first Friday of each month
during the school year
(10:00-11:30am).
Child Protection Training - Children's
ministry conducts training that is required for all volunteers who work with
children from birth through eighteen years of age. Sessions are held once a
month-check the church calendar for dates and times.
