The issue isn't budgets and gifts.
The issue isn't whether or not
we raise our church budget.
The real issue is are we raising up
generous people...people need to give
out of abundance rather than leftovers.

The Ministry Budget is adopted in April of each year. The fiscal year of the church budget is July 1st through June 30th. It provides for all the Operational Expenses of the church.
"'Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord Almighty, ' and see if I will not throw open the foodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enought for it.'" Malachi 3:10
MEMBER TITHING
SUPPORTS THE MINISTRY BUDGET

Every member is expected to give financial support to the mission of the church by giving of a tithe to the church ministry budget.

Tithing is Biblical. Old-fashioned, non-compromising 10% of our gross income is needed. Our church believes in it and preaches it. It represents a transformed life committed to Christ.

Tithing represents the most equitable way for all members of the Body of Christ to share their stewardship responsibility. Unlike the secular world, with so many inequities between the rich and poor, Central asks no more from one group than another. Tithing is a great equalizer.

Tithing is much more than merely a mathematical system for computing "How much." It is a spiritual decision for putting God first. It is not just acceptance of divine percentage; it is much more about acceptance of divine priority. The truth is that giving a tithe affirms our belief that God is put above all the other things.
